Inventory, inspection and mapping of materials containing asbestos (MCA) and man-made vitreous fibres (MMVF) at over 300 buildings in the Municipality of Milan, including schools, nurseries, libraries, swimming pools and public offices.The intervention included visual inspections, sampling, laboratory analysis and drafting of technical documentation with classification of materials according to guidelines.
Drafting of the characterization plan and the final project for the remediation of the former Fibronit area of Bari, which is included in the National Plan of Contaminated Sites. TIA was responsible for core drilling, sampling and over 400 analyses to look for asbestos and metals in the soil and subsoil and outline the remediation project.
Inspection, monitoring and assessment of the state of materials containing asbestos (MCA) and man-made vitreous fibres (MMVF) in different areas of an industrial plant in Taranto. TIA conducted environmental sampling, SEM analysis and risk assessment of exposure to airborne fibres and prepared the full technical documentation according to current regulations.
